Author Michelle Diener talks about her latest novel, In a Treacherous Court. The novel talks readers back to 1525 where artist Susanna Horenbout has been sent from Belgium to be Henry VIII's personal illuminator inside the royal palace.

But her new homeland greets her with an attempt on her life, and the King's most lethal courtier, John Parker, is charged with keeping her safe. As further attacks are made, Susanna and Parker realize that she unknowingly carries the key to a bloody plot against the throne. For while Richard de la Pole amasses troops in France for a Yorkist invasion, a traitor prepares to trample the kingdom from within.

Susanna Horenbout was a real historical figure during the time period. Diener says she was fascinated about the idea of a woman artist working alone with primarily men. Take a look:

Alfred A. Knopf announced that it has has acquired world rights to a new book by former president Bill Clinton. The book will be called Back to Work and will focus on how the U.S. can dig itself out of its current economic woes and meet the challenges ahead. The book will be published in November.

Sonny Mehta, Knopf's Chairman and Editor in Chief, acquired the rights. The terms of the deal are not being disclosed. Clinton said in a statement, "I wrote this book because I love my country and I'm concerned about our future. As I often said when I first ran for President in 1992, America at its core is an idea -- the idea that no matter who you are or where you're from, if you work hard and play by the rules, you'll have the freedom and opportunity to pursue your own dreams and leave your kids a country where they can chase theirs."

Knopf released this statement about the book:

In the book, Clinton details how we can get out of the current economic crisis and lay a foundation for long-term prosperity. He offers specific recommendations on how we can put people back to work, increase bank lending and corporate investment, double our exports, restore our manufacturing base, and create new businesses. He supports President Obama's emphasis on green technology, saying that change in the way we produce and consume energy is the strategy most likely to spark a fast growing economy and enhance our national security.

Clinton also says that we need both a strong economy and a smart government working together to restore prosperity and progress. He demonstrates that whenever we've given into the temptation to blame government for our problems, we've lost our commitment to shared prosperity, balanced growth, financial responsibility, and investment in the future. Que has launched the 20th edition of Scott Mueller's helpful book, Upgrading and Repairing PCs. According to data from Bookscan, the book has been the bestselling PC hardware book for over 20 years. The book was first published in 1988, many years before the Internet became the dominant use for computers.

The latest edition includes information on the latest processors, including Intel's 2nd generation Core i3, i5, i7 plus the Atom, and AMD's new VISION series CPUs. There is also coverage motherboards, memory, storage, video, audio, I/O, input devices, Internet connectivity, power, and much more. There is also coverage of emerging technologies, inlcuding USB 3.0 and Thunderbolt.

The book includes a DVD-ROM, with over 90 minutes of how-to video with author Scott Mueler.

Singer-songwriter Neil Young will publish his memoir next year. His book is tentatively titled Waging Heavy Peace. It will be published in fall of 2012 by Blue Rider Press, a member of Penquin Group (USA).

Blue Rider's president and publisher acquired world print, ebook and audio rights to to the book from Elliot Roberts, Young's manager. Neil Young says writing books fit him like a glove.

Young says, "I felt like writing books fit me like a glove; I started and I just kept going. That's the way my Daddy used to do it on his old Underwood up in the attic. He said, 'Just keep writing, you never know what will turn up.'"
