Donald Rumfeld's memoir, Known and Unknown, will be published by Penguin's Sentinel imprint on January 25, 2011. Publishers Weekly reports that Sentinel publisher Adrian Zackheim says Rumsfeld's book is "filled with previously undisclosed details and insights about the Bush administration, 9/11, and the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq."

The AP reports that Rumsfeld's book will cover everything from his childhood to his political career, including his Secretary of Defense jobs under President Gerald Ford and President George W. Bush.

Proceeds from the book will go to the Rumsfeld Foundation, which supports several veterans charities.
